The Cutting Edge Challenge #11...A Card for Baby Mercy

It's time for challenge # 11 at The Cutting Edge!!   This week's inspiration card is a fun one, made by Melania!!
The challenge...to use Melania's card for your inspiration and create a card that includes die cutting (all forms accepted).  There’s so much about this project to be inspired by!!  Here’s what I created:
I really chose all the elements of Melania's card...loved them all...thought it so cool that the elephant I used even had a heart on his ear...Melania's camera had a heart in the center of it's lens...ok...cool!!  The card was made for my son-in-law's brother's baby coming in November...her name will be Mercy and the colors of her nursery are mint and coral with lots of elephants...so all the elements of the card are made for HER (but you could easily personalize this with another name and colors!):)!! Here's a close up...
Thank you, Melania, for the inspiration...had SO MUCH FUN!!!

We’d love to have you play along with us! If you click on through to The Cutting Edge Challenge Blog, you’ll find lots of information, including:

  3. Hey Ruth! I actually die cut with the vent die in both the mint and coral/peach colors, adhered a piece of paper behind my card vent with lots of stick on it, and placed each of those colored strips into place. Hope that makes sense...and I AM working on videos:):)!...fun!!
