Merry Christmas Tree

I used a couple Simon Says Stamp dies from last year to make a fun, simple Christmas card...
I die cut the tree a couple times, although the die set from 2 Christmases ago is no longer available, stamping and cutting them would be just as wonderful, and I've linked to the stamp set Holiday Layered Tree below, if you're interested:)!!   I adhered 2 layers and used glue dots to adhere the branches to brown die cut trunk.  I die cut the Holiday Frame (from a release last year) and layered twice.  I put a strip of red cardstock behind the "Christmas" and then popped up on card with the Christmas Tree and star underneath and at the top, over the frame.  Adorned the tree with some enamel dots.  Here's a close up...
Super easy and so much fun!!  Thanks so much for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

A Warm and Cozy Holiday

I made a card to show you today, using the new Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Borders die!  This is such a beautiful die...LOVE the rolling, lacy snowflakes...
I die cut the border twice for each side of borders and stamped the sentiment in a curve that went with the curves of the borders.  I traced with a pencil on the striped paper with one of the die cut borders, in the positions I wanted them, and I then cut the paper with scissors. I popped up the striped panels on the white card.  Here's a close up...

Winterberry Sprig

I pulled out older Memory Box dies, Winterberry Sprig, and Tender Leaves,  to make a Christmas card!...
I die cut the sprig with white cardstock and colored with markers.  I glossy accented the berries and added some die cut leaves.  The sentiment is from an older stamp set,  Hero Arts Holiday Sayings.  Here's a close up...

Sketch For You To Try 30...Merry Christmas

Hope that all of you stateside enjoyed your Thanksgiving, yesterday!!  My daughter and son-in-law are in from Nashville and with us until Sunday, so these last few days have been wonderful!!  My life is blessed and I have so much to be thankful for...and you all are a part of that!!  Thank you for sharing my passion of this amazing craft by way of my blog...I am so thankful for you!!

I have a card to share with you today that I made for Reverse Confetti's November Sketch For You To Try!  Here's my card and the sketch...

My take on the sketch was a very clean and simple interpretation, using the Reverse Confetti Winter Words Confetti Cuts die and the Winter Words Coordinates stamp set. I LOVE this die/stamp die set!!   I adhered pieces of red and green papers to another thin piece of cardstock, then die cut.  I layered the sentiment and stamped the sentiments above and below the die cut sentiment.  I added a layered die cut heart from the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts die set and used Glossy Accents over it.  I adhered some thin silver thread to the back and around the "m" in the sentiment...
Here's  a list of the supplies...

Check the sketch and details out over at the Reverse Confetti blog ...there's a prize for the winner of the challenge...you've still got a few days to enter the challenge:)!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

More Alphabet Blocks

I have three more cards to show you that I made with the Simon Says Stamp Alphabet Blocks dies...when I got these dies out of their envelope, I just couldn't stop...they are SO MUCH FUN and have SO MANY POSSIBILITIES...
I used some different colored patterned paper for my blocks, layered the patterned paper layer and added a sentiment from the  Many Thanks Simon Says Stamp set...

The second one, I used a striped piece of paper that I die cut the "thanks" out of ...
I taped the block dies together, so that I could die cut several of them for layering.  I then made a mask of elliptical tape and blackened all the letters by sponging with black ink...
I then put a couple of the die cut block strips behind the black ones, and glossy accented the letters...
The third one, I made a baby card...blocks...babies...just goes:)!!  I used a grid stamp  from Simon with some versamark along with a Simon sentiment that I embossed with white powder...
I used wood veneer paper for my baby blocks.  Here's a close up...
OK...SO MUCH FUN!!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
